Hardcore or casual, ZA or Sunwell Plateau, everyone can get in on the action and spend thousands of gold on repairs and consumables. This week, a pit lord dies. Brutallus is the second boss in the Sunwell Plateau. A pit lord with swords for hands, he becomes accessible once you've redeemed Kalecgos and killed the two trash packs behind Kalecgos' platform. After watching a short event where Brutallus fights and kills Madrigosa, a blue dragon who you can see taunting him when doing the Dead Scar bombing quest, it's time to face the demon himself. Many people have compared the Brutallus encounter to that of Patchwerk back in Naxxramas; rather than an execution encounter, this is a benchmark fight, and if your raid is low on DPS, your tanks fall short of gear requirements or your healers can't keep up, you'll run into difficulties. The main requirement is extremely high raid dps; with a 6 minute enrage and 10.5 million hitpoints, you're looking at just over 29k raid dps sustained over the entire fight. How much that works out to per DPSer depends on your raid composition, so let's look at what you need to bring for the fight. Position This diagram courtesy of Insomnia on Tichondrius sums up the positioning problem well. The raid arranges itself in a triangle or V, with the two tanks positioned with DPS and healer soak groups around them; everyone needs to stand so that they won't get Meteor Slash when Brutallus is hitting the other tank. Burn spots are behind him, so you won't get a Slash while Burning -- melee can stay put if they're spread out enough. or wow Refreshing your Meteor Slash stacks while you have Burn is a ticket to pain, as the increased fire damage debuff makes the final ticks deadly. The terrain where you fight Brutallus is slightly bumpy, so you might need to adjust positioning a little so the pull works right, but it shouldn't take too long to get everyone standing in the right place.
You can use the crates and cart on the ground to fix your positioning. " "Based on your votes last week for the best piece of anti-advice, congratulations to Eldron for submitting the winning entry: ""Hey everyone! Type /afk list when to see who is afk!"" He wins fame, respect, and ooh and ahhhs from crowds of adoring fans! Eldron's anti-advice won with 28.7% of the votes. When I first saw this piece of anti-advice I have to admit I went and tried it right away. I went in AV and typed in /bg, ""Man... guild wars gold look at all these AFK people."" A few folks responded and agreed with me, annoyed about it. ""Type /afk list and report everyone that comes up, please,"" I say next. I kid you not – 15 people immediately afk'd out. At that point I started getting some pretty hate-filled tells, so I decided to /afk out myself. But nonetheless, I just about died from laughter. lineage 2 adena Of course, this is kind of mean, and just a tad underhanded, but really... sometimes things like this are just too funny to pass up. I tried this again later in a AB match that was going awful, and after I told everyone to type /afk list, someone replied ""Yeah, wow, look at all those people."" He then sent me a tell: ""lol! I've been doing that all day!"" All the people that were dragging us down left the BG, and new ones came in and we won. gold wow So maybe this isn't that bad of advice after all... Tabi said... ""All the people that were dragging us down left the BG, and new ones came in and we won. So maybe this isn't that bad of advice after all..."" Congratulations! You got 15 real live people to afk out of your game.
More room for the bots who don't fall for tricks like this. wow or You should be proud of yourself for giving 15 new players the education they need about assholes in battlegrounds. I'm surprised you didn't pick your nose and show it to them while you were at it. Go back to grade school where you belong. "

Still, it's worth doing. Not only do you get a good 18 gold or so, but the weapon oil you get is really nice for completing your Isle of Quel'danas dailies or heading into Magister's Terrace or the Sunwell Plateau. Since each bottle has 5 charges, you shouldn't have to worry about running out either. It's also a good excuse to head to Shadowmoon Valley and do a couple Netherwing dailies. I think they could probably stand to up the drop rates on the armaments a bit, and it gets very annoying dodging the Shadowsworn Drakonids, but once you get the swing of it, it's probably worth it for 18 gold and the oil. This is probably more of a superstition thing I my part, but I find if you start at the top of the area instead of the bottom, the armaments seem to drop faster, so I generally just head into the building by the Ata'mal Crystal at the top of the Orc area, kill the four mobs in there, and work my way down the stairs, killing Orcs along the way. Final Thoughts So with Phase 4, we now have a giant smorgasbord of daily quests to do, all with their own individual perks and quirks. In the final analysis, I'd say this aspect of 2.4 has been a roaring success. There's a couple places where spawn rates or drop rates could be tweaked upward a little, but overall, the Sunwell dailies are a nice way to keep busy until WoTLK finally shows up. Except... You're missing the fact that EVERYONE has access to the same resources. Newbies can do the same daily quests as you or me now, unlike the Ogri'la quests which had prerequisites. You also have to realize, anyone could easily make more than 250g in 3 hours just by farming motes and selling them on AH.
My average pace when I was farming was around 150g per hour, which is only slightly under what I'm doing with my optimal dailies path. The only reason why there's more gold coming in now is that the idea of dailies is more enticing to people than farming." "I like this quest because it really rounds out the Greengill coast quite well. or wow You're already headed over there to read a ley line and maybe grab some Darkspine Ore, but now you'll be able to do something with the sirens over there too. This is very nice, because before it was always a pain when I was riding down the coast, only to find myself slowed by a Frostbolt. It always felt like a pain to dismount and smack down the Darkspine Siren in question, but now I can kill them for this quest. world of warcraft powerleveling I very much appreciate that the Orb of Murloc Control appears to be a 100% drop this time around, especially with my previous frustration over the key drops for the Making Ready quest. It did take me 4 orbs to free enough Murlocs to complete the quest the first time that I did it, but I think I might be able to cut that down with a little more practice. Still, I also think they could stand to pack the Murlocs a little tighter, or give the orbs a larger radius. Another thing I noticed on this quest is that the Darkspine Myrmidons seem to be dropping keys a lot more often. wow po I killed about 5 of them in the time it took me to find the sirens for the orbs I needed, and got 3 keys. I don't know if I was lucky, or if they did actually bump the drop rate on the keys at some point, enough that I'm almost willing to retract my complaints on the matter from my previous review.
Whatever it was, Greengill Coast was very lucrative for me. eve isk I think the thing that really seals it for me, and makes me think that this quest will definitely be part of my daily rotation from now, is watching the freed Murlocs rush off to attack the nearest Naga they can find. It's sort of heartwarming to see them take up arms and fight for their freedom - only to be slaughtered mercilessly because the Naga are 10 levels higher than they are, but hey. This quest has made me feel a twinge of sympathy toward Murlocs, which is a miracle in and of itself. wow powerleveling If there's one complaint I could make, it's that the quest giver is initially sort of out of the way, off on a boat in the harbor. If you don't know she's there, you might miss her.

Caedus of Bloodscalp-EU discovered this empty elven boat -- with the lamp still burning -- at the top of the Southfury River. And where is the top of the Southfury River. After a long journey fraught with spider attacks, my shaman discovered that this screenie was taken at the very top of the border between Ashenvale and Azshara, which means that the water is coming down from Mount Hyjal. Caedus wrote, ""I doubt many people have seen it as I can't imagine people enjoying swimming up this river."" You got that right. Do you have any unusual World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder. We'd love to see it on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next! Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. We prefer full screen shots without the UI showing. And please, no more sunsets. We work better under cover of night. Phase 4 daily quests Phase 4 is now well underway, with about 50 servers having it unlocked according to us.gorgonnash.info at the time of this writing. There's still a few more things to unlock, but for the most part, the Sunwell Isle is complete, and what you see is what you get as far as resources and places to fight. So, once again, it is time to ask the question: How do these quests fit into your busy up-to-25-daily-quests-to-do lifestyle. They fit pretty well, actually! Actually, even before we get to the quests, my favorite part of this phase may very well be that the Isle of Quel'danas is now more or less full service.
Not only do you finally have a place to repair in the form of the unlocked badge vendor, but the newly opened Inn also has a mailbox. wow po It seems like often find my bags overloaded with Motes of Mana, Sunfury Signets, stacks of Netherweave Cloth, and sundry greens by the time I'm done with the island, so being able to send that stuff over to my mule right away is a godsend. At that point, the quests are just icing on the cake, really. Admittedly, it's some pretty tasty icing. wow " "Last night I posted why I feel that the PvE game has been, is, and always will be the real game in WoW. One of the interesting inferences that people made was that I don't like PvP, and that I don't do it. Nothing is further from the truth. guild wars gold It was interesting to read the number of comments on that article, and I think it might surprise some folks that save for this introduction paragraph and a few edits I made, this article was written before I wrote my PvE piece. So, why do I PvP. What attracts me to the PvP game, and why is it a worthwhile thing to do in WoW. There are three primary reasons that PvP is a game worth playing. gold für wow kaufen First, it provides a critical and necessary change of pace from the PvE game. Secondly, it gives those with limited play time an opportunity to enjoy the game and succeed at what they do. Finally, PvP is beginning to turn into a legitimate eSport, and provides some good entertainment there in. wow gold Let's look at each of these reasons individually. A Change of Pace Raiding and playing the same five man instances can get quite boring over time.

Every Sunday, Spiritual Guidance will offer practical insight for priests of the holy profession. Your host is now Matt Low, the grand poobah of World of Matticus, and this week he has compiled a list that raiding holy priests may find beneficial whether they consider themselves new or veterans. I've raided for a long time on my priest. My first real raid started with Zul'Gurub before I graduated to Molten Core and Blackwing Lair. Unfortunately, I started late in the game to the point where I never really appreciated AQ 40 or Naxxramas. Years later, I am now working my towards Illidan after mopping the floor with Archimonde. It's difficult for a holy priest to begin raiding. The learning curve can be steep at times because there are so many options available. That being said, there are a few lessons I've learned from raiding that have proven universal. They had as much application back then as they do now and I wanted to pass them on to any new budding raid priests. Check out all thirteen tips, from reagents to situation awareness, right after the break. Do over pack on reagents: There are going to be times when you are the only priest in the raid group. You are single handedly responsible for the fort of the entire raid. Having over 1000 additional hit points is a required buffer to have in end game raiding. Being caught without reagents is generally frowned upon by most guilds. Do things without being asked: Don't wait around for players to ask you for fort. The latest raidframe addons display the buffs that you can cast on other players (XPerl, Pitbull, etc). Even if another priest is designated the buffer for that group, save the raid some time and just do it. Reagents cost the same amount as toothpicks anyway.
wow geld If there's a new priest in the raid who is unsure of what to do on the boss, let them in on the MO of the boss (which is lawyer speak for method). Brief them of what to expect as a priest. Do have thick skin: As healers, we are the make or break class in a raid. When anything bad happens, we are the first players that get placed under the microscope and absorb the blame. wow gold I've owned up to my share of mistakes and I'll let you in on a secret. Half of those mistakes were never really my fault. But in the interest of time and progression, I take the blame so that we could get going. wow powerleveling If you don't think you can handle the pressure and the criticism from other classes, then raiding might not be an end game activity for you. Do use consumables regularly: Being a player whose eyes are literally glued to raid frames, it's easy to tell the difference players who use potions early and those who use it late. The point here is that you want to get that cooldown working. The holy trinity of raid consumables consists of Flask of Mighty Restoration, Superior Mana Oil, and Golden Fish Sticks (or Blackened Sporefish, which I prefer). Do ask for help: Whether it's because you're unsure of your assignment or because you ran out of mana, don't hesitate to scream and get attention fast. wow gold verkaufen This is especially true in a raid instance like Mount Hyjal. I have yet to encounter another instance that is more punishing on wipes. If you're not familiar by now, one small mistake can snowball into a wipe in a short amount of time. lotro gold Guess what.
You get to do it all over again.

Be careful about how much power you give a player. If the players abuse the
power they are given, then demote them, or remove some of the options from their
current rank. wow gold
Use Guild ranks as a method for rewarding good guild members. Start members out
with very little. Add ranks above the basic starting rank with additional
options for players to earn with good behavior or performance. Only your most
trusted members should have access to the most powerful options such as officer
chat, officer notes, remove player, add player. If players are abusing the guild
chat by spamming or being otherwise annoying create a guild rank that does not
have access to type in guild chat. wow
power leveling Then demote the offending player to that rank as a warning.
You can even do that as a temporary measure. You can promote them back after a
period of time or if they agree to be good. You can create your own names for
the guild ranks. Take advantage of that. wow
level up Remove players that are not active in the guild. Common Questions
Q: How can a player check their rank in the guild. Hit 'C' to open up the
character menu. A player's rank is listed below their name. Alternatively, you
can see a player's rank in the guild tab next to their name. If the rank name is
too long, it won't be displayed. " .

Zone - The zone or region where
the player is currently located. This is useful information to know where the
player is currently located so you can determine their current status, or
whether they are able to team up. Lvl - Player's character level. Class - The
class of that guild member. Select ""Show Guild Status"" again to toggle back to
the previous view. Guild Info Guild Information There is a Guild Info panel for
each guild. That panel allows a guild to enter long term information and
messages about the guild that is too long for the message of the day. The
guildmaster can use the guild control panel to determine who has access to
change the text in this panel. wow gold
Members Totals Below the guild member listings you will see a listing of the
total number of guildmembers and how many are online. If ""Show Offline

currently online. Control Panel Below the guild player listing you will find
another area with a bunch of various buttons. " "New Guild. Group Invite -
Select a player on the list, then hit this button to invite them into your
party. Guild Control - This will launch a control window pane where you can edit
the ranks of the guild and set up permissions for each rank. wow
power level This will be explained in detail further down the page. Add
Member - Press this button then enter the name of the player you wish to invite
to the guild. Once they accept your invitation they will be added to the guild.
If they do not accept you will have to invite again. At the very bottom of the
guild tab you will see: Promote - Select a player on the list then hit
""promote"" to set their rank to a higher rank in the guild.

A message will be sent to the entire guild that this player's rank has changed,
so be careful when using it. Demote - Select a player on the list and hit
""demote"" to demote that player one rank in the guild. Remove - Select a player
on the list and hit ""Remove"" to kick them out of the guild. wow gold
Guild Message of the Day - Select the trumpet to see the guild message of the
day. Double-click on the text for the message of the day to edit it. Your
current rank must be authorized in order to modify the message of the day. This
message will be displayed to anyone in the guild that comes online. Player Notes
- Select a player; then hit the ""Public Note"" button to see any public notes
on that player. wow

- Select a player; then hit the ""Officer's Note"" button to see or change any
officer notes on that player. Only ranks authorized to view officers' notes can
see these notes on the player. Officer notes are useful to put any secret
information on that player that you want officers and authorized users to be
aware of. wow

warning. You can place ""This person has been a jerk lately so watch out for
them."" The other officers can see this warning and can take appropriate action
if they see this player getting out of hand. Be careful as to which ranks you
allow to see this information. Make sure you enter this information under
officers' notes rather than public notes. To edit these notes, click on the

Somehow, Liz's computer got unplugged from the Light
at the last minute and wiped her draft for this week clean. The task has fallen
upon me once to swing the Light and wreak havoc upon these pages with blood and
fury. Or something like that. In the wake of the admittedly lackluster (what, no
giant GMs or gnome-transfigurations or demons run amuck. ) second take on the
TTR stress test, I've decided to write up the experience about making your own
Paladin on the Tournament Test Realm, aka the TTRadin. If you haven't logged on
to the TTR, now's a good time to download the PTR client and get yourself
started. Paladin without the pain If you've never played a Paladin before, the
TTR is an excellent way to experience some Paladin goodness without having to go
through the entire leveling experience -- some parts of which even
self-confessed altaholic and column co-writer Chris Jahosky admits to having a
dislike for. Of course, leveling is part of the education process, so don't
expect to know all the abilities and talents a Paladin -- or any class you make,
for that matter -- right off the bat if you don't have a max-level character of
that class on the live servers. That said, making a character on the TTR is well
worth the effort and is definitely something any player can use to explore their
options. Getting a taste of a max-level character, in our case a Paladin (this
is a Paladin column, after all), is something players can learn from. So where
do we start. We have the usual racial choices: Human, Dwarf, or Draenei for the
Alliance; and Blood Elf for the Horde. Because it isn't a PvP server by
definition, you can make an Alliance and a Horde character.

The tournament server also isn't like the live realms in that there are no
quests or NPCs aside from the trainers, vendors, and arena representatives. wow gold
I haven't explored the tournament realm completely, but it's safe to assume that
it's a barren world. The NPCs are all Goblins, by the way, which is a bit
unsettling and bizarre. There are few things stranger than seeing little green
men and women in full Tier 2. " "15 Minutes of Fame is our look at World of
Warcraft players of all shapes and sizes – both the renowned and the relatively
anonymous. If you want to hear a sad song about a lack of bag space, just talk
to a hybrid or tank-capable class. Those guys are lugging around three or more
sets of gear, plus variations – it's enough to bust a Foror's Crate of Endless
Resist Gear Storage wide open. (Yeah, we know you wish you had one of those; we
do, too.) We talked with a player who definitely has storage issues, but from a
little different perspective: Rattleshirt of Uldaman, who displays her finery
not in raid instances or battlegrounds but on the catwalk. Some players think
vanity gear is a ridiculous waste of bank and bag space. wow
power level Not Rattleshirt. When Rattleshirt decided to transfer realms not
too long ago, she had to pare down to five full packs – yes, that's five full
packs – from her existing 90-something ensembles. She had so many outfits that
she began giving impromptu fashion shows in Orgrimmar every night before logging
out, complete with audience requests for particular rare robes. We snagged a
backstage visit with Rattleshirt to find out, well, what all the rattle is
behind her many shirts. " "Open up the guild screen by hitting the ""O"" key
followed by selecting the guild tab.

The guild must already be created and you must be a member of the guild. wow gold

find this useful to focus on players that are in the game and playing vs. not

including their note and officer's note if you have the appropriate rank or
permissions. Rank - The player's position in the guild. This position is
determined by the officers or those guild members authorized to change rank.
Note is a special note on that player created by someone authorized to enter
notes. Last Online - When that player was last online. wow

the above four fields by clicking on any of the above headers. For example,
click on ""Rank"" to sort the list by rank. If you click on ""Show Player
